Your work belongs to you.
Here is what Taldi asks for, what it does with it, and where the limits are. We want you to be able to make an informed choice before adding work information.
Make it yours
You can give your location a nickname instead of its real business name. Add sales when they help you: Taldi calculates dashboard figures without sending them to an AI model. A nickname reduces identifying detail, but your account and other entries may still identify you or your workplace.
Who can see your information?
Taldi uses account and workspace access controls for synced data. People you invite into a shared workflow can see the information you put in that workflow. Taldi's service providers process data needed to run the app. Authorized Taldi operators may access data for support and security. Current sales values are encrypted before they enter database tables; operators with access to the gateway key can still decrypt them when needed to run the service.
What does encryption protect?
Connections to the service and provider storage use encryption. Taldi also encrypts sales values in its authenticated gateway, using a key kept outside the database, before storing them. A database table now shows encrypted sales text and limited record metadata. This extra layer currently covers the sales records and sales previews, not every task, note, photo, or team entry. Older database backups may still contain the previous readable copies until those backups expire. See Sales data explained for details and limits.
AI is your choice
Taldi AI features are off by default. Taldi does not automatically attach your store name or ID to model requests. Typed sales questions use a limited sales context without earlier chat history; other requests fetch relevant workspace details when needed. What you type, say, or upload can still identify a person or company. Live voice sends audio for that conversation. Taldi explains those flows in the privacy policy.
